My Story
A little about me
My name is Jackson Wong aka Wongzy.
The nickname “Wongzy” came from a friend years ago out on a camping trip. In typical Australia fashion, if you can’t shorten a name, you make it longer by adding “o” or “zy” to the end of it.
I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia.
Things that bring me joy
I’m a lover of the outdoors, exploration and adventure.
I enjoy starting and running small start ups and businesses, both for myself and helping others.
I enjoy expanding my creativity – learning to play the ukulele and piano, learning to sing, and learning to sketch and paint.
I’m passionate about inspiring others to follow their heart, and to do what makes them happy.
To inspire, and be inspired
Put simply, I want to share my life experiences to try to inspire and help others.
By sharing my life experiences, I hope to help and inspire others to grow. To be the best versions of themselves. To live happy and fulfilling lives.
Life has been a rollercoaster ride for me – I’ve experienced both the highs and the lows. I’ve been in places of true joy and happiness, and in places of overwhelming darkness.
I’ve been lucky to have some successes, but also with it countless more failures.
I’ve gone from being a very rational, logical person. To someone who tries to understand and empathize with others before making decisions.
I’ve changed from drifting through life, to becoming very goal and purpose driven, to focusing on just being happy and enjoying life.

Just one blog post at a time, I’ll be writing about my life experiences.
I’ll talk about the good times – the things that bring me joy.
And I’ll talk about the bad times – the times where I felt like giving up and there was no hope.
